New Delhi: Two of three-member committee set up by the disbanded Indian Hockey Federation to inquire into the sting operation by a television news channel have resigned, IOA chief Suresh Kalmadi said today.
Rattled by the bribe scandal involving its secretary K Jothikumaran, the IHF had set up the three-member committee headed by retired Judge of Madras High Court Justice K M N Natarajan.
Former Director General of Tamil Nadu Police W I Davaram and IHF Joint Secretary Rajeev Mehta were the other members of the committee but Kalmadi today said two members have informed the IOA that they would not be a part of the committee.
"Two members had written a letter to the IOA that they do not want to be part of the committee," Kalmadi said at a press conference here after the IOA Executive Committee unanimously disbanded the IHF.
"I have told K P S Gill who was present at the Executive Committee meeting," he said.
When asked if the committee was as good as dissolved now, Kalmadi replied, "you can interpret it like that."

Re: Inquiry members resign
Do a fair trial and I am sure Jyothi will be behind bars followed by good to be a COP only KPSG. Do not delay the inquiry and bring hockey back to its glory in India.
